I am 6'0" 16 years old and weight 140lbs. I want to gain at least 15 more pounds, if so a bit more. How can I gain weight successfully.? Or any other tips I would appreciate as well.Health Question & Answer

difficult to answer without knowing exactly what you eat each day.
At 140lbs i'd recommend you eat this each day:
140 grams of carbs
200 grams of protein
90 grams of fats
this is 2170 calories. divide these into 5-6 meals evenly.
start lifting weights. this will add a little muscle to you. not alot. women don't make nearly enough testosterone to get big muscles. thats why the professional bodybuilder women take steroids.
see how these calories affect your body. if you STILL are not growing then do the following:
add 250 calories (carbs & fats. leave protein alone) to your intake. follow this for 2 weeks. check the scale to see if you have gained weight. if yes, stay there. if no, then add 250 calories. eat like that for 2 more weeks. check the scale again.. etc etc
this is called outcome-based decision making.

It seems to me that you have an ectomorphic build (skinny, tall, bony, high metabolism) where whatever you eat won't gain you any weight. what you need is lift weights (dont worry u wont get buff and muscular unless u use artificial hormones and stuff) . Break up your meals into 6 small ones. if you eat 3 square meals a day the stomach wont get anything for 4+ hours and will eat fat and muscle. which isn't good. eat every 1/2 to 2 hours. take LOTS OF CARBS. this will cause fat gain. take sugar too. good luck.Health Question & Answer

You can gain weight from gaining muscles so work on strengthening exercises.
also eat a lot of protein like protien shakes and eat hamburgers and cheeseburgers!

Eating more healthy foods from a variety of the food groups. also, eating a lot more calories will help, too, but keep to foods that are nutrient-dense. For example, nuts have a lot of nutrients and calories, but they're small so it's okay.Health Question & Answer

Don't get addicted to junk food!! Don't eat so much unhealthy food. Go to McDonalds, and order a big Mac, and large fries, and drink.
