Well, I don;t think I'm TOO fat. Not as big as Jennifer Hudson, but yeah. Not skinny. Just.. Curvy. And usually, emo girls are soo skinny. I don't care, but lately, I felt as if I'm too fat and no one likes me. So... I've been starving myself.? For lunch, I would either drink half a Monster or Dr.Pepper. Then Icome home and eat a little, then stop eating. Today, I only ate 4 pieces of toast. Then i got soo hungry, but I didn't feel liek getting somethign to eat. Now the hunger just stopped. And my friend MJ is telling me all this crap saying that my brains ignoring my tummy's signal sayin gthat I'm hungry and stuff. Is it true.? I jsut want to not eat that much. i think u should only eat when u're hungry and stop when u feel somewhat full. that is the rule for french...i heard the rule for americans is just to 'clean your plate'. follow the french rule instead...

once i didn't eat breakfast or lunch and at the end of the day i started getting shaky and felt like i wanted to faint or vomit. and i had ate meals the day before and i can usually go for a while without even feeling hungry...but that day i felt so sick and i had to go the nurse and she said i looked green. so as you can see, this can have a bad effect on you...even if u thought u could handle it and have done it before.

instead...for getting thinner...i suggest this cereal substitution diet to lose 3 lb/week (average! yours could be 2 to 4.)

breakfast---cereal (healthy flakes or bran) with milk

snack-granola bar or 1 small fruit/chunk of a fruit

lunch---eat lunch as you regullarly do but make it really healthy and a small portion (example: a bowl of rice OR some potatoes OR some fruit salad)

dinner---cereal again (healthy flakes or bran) with milk

yeah, so i think this is more effective than starving. i know because i do this diet sometimes and i always see results at least 2-3 pounds a week, sometimes even more. exercise is uneccessary with diet but you can try a bit of light dancing (don't exhaust yourself however) to slim hips and tummy as well as have fun. just 15-20 mins is fine.

Starving your self wont help. Your body doesn't think "oh she is trying to look good" it's thinking "holy **** on food" and hangs on to everything it can get, so you end up putting more weight on.

Best way to do it is Change your drinks to diet drinks or even better drink water. Change any unhealthy meals you may eat to healthy meals and snack on fruit instead of junk.

also, cardio 4-5 times a week for 30-60 mins will greatly increase weight loss.

okayyyy starving urself is not a good way to lose weight. ive tried and yes i am 13, emo, and used to be curvy. when u start starving urself, ur body is losing good vitamins and energy and burning away ur muscle (and fat) until theres nothing left, and when u eat again, all the weight will just come right back. The safe way to lose weight is to make sure to burn more calories than u eat. i'm going to be honest with you, you're walking into dangerous territory. i was a year younger than you are now when i started throwing up everything i ate. i'm in my late twenties now, and as much as i want to stop, i can't. now, i've got more problems than my weight. i've been in recovery now for a week. do you know how sad and pathetic that is.? i'm a very intelligent adult, i've got more than one degree, and have a wonderful marriage and life. i have no reason do be doing these things.

Oh honey....here's the thing.
If you try to lose weight way fast like that, you could get weirdly obsessed with food, and that's just not good for a number of reasons. Mainly, that when you start to eat normally again, which you will, all of the weight piles back on and then some.
The alternative way this road could take you is to an eating disorder, and if you think there's anything sexy about that, look into some photos of anorexic/bulimic girls, and read about Aimee Moore....that helps to understand how glamorous it is (Not). It's self-obsessive, narcissistic, incredibly vain, self-abusive, and just plain off the hook. And it makes you no fun to be around.
Your metabolism is naturally different from your friends, so do yourself a favor and only compare you to you, not her...there are ways to boost your own metabolism so you're burning more all the time, but you have to eat right to get to this point.
You have to learn to eat healthy. I hate to sound like everyone else, but you keep hearing that because it's so true, and it's really, truly the only way. Dr. Pepper.? 4 slices of toast.? You haven't even begun to get the basics down yet. Get obsessive about WHAT you put into your body. Specifically, learn about whole foods and why they're the best way to go. Whatever you do, steer clear of any weird fast methods of weight loss, as any diet-experienced lady will tell you, it ultimately is setting you up for total and complete failure.
MJ sounds like she's looking out for your best interests, and is likely correct. If you starve your body of key nutrients, it will of course be quite hungry. It's hungry for a reason, listen closely and give it what it REALLY needs. Don't ignore it's hunger signals out of vanity.

when you don't consume much (calories, etc.), then your body adjusts to that new diet. it doesn't just start losing fat, it tries to readjust everything so that it can function with your new diet. your idiotic plan won't work as well as you hope. try eating really healthily and exercising more. i've heard that if you go an a diet, you should take one day to eat more of what you want so your body thinks that's normal and it doesn't do what i talked about earlier. but like i said, best way would be to eat more than you are, eat healthily, and exercise.Health Question & Answer

you have to remember that you're only 13.
your body is still developing.
i had a friend that was curvy until she was 17 and then that summer, she just dropped all her weight and go taller, and she didnt even do anything.
but if you really do want to lose weight right now,
starving your self is the worst thing you can do, it'll make you gain more weight because youre body isnt burning the carbs that it normally should when you walk, laugh, etc...
you should do cardio and eat healthier.
