I have been doing Press ups/ push ups everday 4 the past 2 months but i can't go any higher than 40?!


Question: I have been doing Press ups/ push ups everday 4 the past 2 months but i can't go any higher than 40.?
i have been doing Press ups/ push ups everyday 4 the past 2 months but i can't go any higher than 40.? is there anything i am doing wrong.? i take a break twice a weak and it is the right technique i do........

Instead of doing 40 at once, try doing 3 sets of 15 with a minute break in between. Once you can do that comfortably, move up the number of sets or reps. After awhile, you should be able to do more than 40.Health Question & Answer

it's normal. try different "positions" like having your feet on a chair or something. do negatives. thats when instead of going down fast, go down slowly, touch the ground in like 10 secs then push yourself up very fast. but 40 is pretty good. how old are u btw.?Health Question & Answer
