I'm 15 years old, 5'5 and about 125 lbs. I grew a lot in the past year. My mom told me that I'm "getting heavy." lol, I don't want to become anorexic or anything, just maybe loose a little weight. Thanks! :) ?Health Question & Answer

We can't tell. muscle weight FAR more then fat. You could be a healthy 110 lbs or a healthy 150 lbs at your height, depending on your muscle level.

This is a good chance for you to learn about healthy eating habits and how they can help you develop a healthy body throughout your life. So much food and food advertising are targeted towards your age group. Those foods are fun and taste good but really are not good for you.
With the winter break coming up, go to your library, school or public, and ask the librarian to help you find a book on healthy eating.

There are methods where you use a tape-measure and do some math with the results. For someone not trained to do on yourself, these are probably the best. No not at all! Just ignore your mom. You will gradually put on and lose weight as you get older. If your mom has a problem with her weight then that might also be the case for her mean remarks.
