Are veins on your muscles a sign of them getting stronger.? My friend told me that and I started getting them as I continued working out. Makes sense, but I wanted to ask anyway.Health Question & Answer

rokuz's answer is retarded. veins are not a sign of using steroids. the visibility of your veins depends on a couple things. if you don't have a lot of fat on top of them then they will show more. also when you exercise your muscles you increase there "vascularity" which is basically how much blood flow they get. when you exercise a muscle you tear it down so your body sends more blood flow to the area filled with protein and amino acids to repair the muscle which in turn makes you stronger.Health Question & Answer
To a point, yes, but that generally starts more so when you're really toning your body after gaining a bunch of muscle. If your veins are popping up really visible in your arms.. more so than the normal, .. It's a sign of taking steroids. >>; Which is so damn pointless. It inflates the muscle and makes it incredibly easier to injure yourself.Health Question & Answer
