Is lifting weight at the gym narcissistic?!

Question: Is lifting weight at the gym narcissistic.?
i understand people who go the gym to get better for their sport or to lose weight. but most of the people i see at my gym are young guys like me who dont play any sport, arent overweight to start with but just lift weight to get a better body. whenever i'm down there all you see is guys looking at themselves in the mirror and flexing. im probably as bad as those people. ive been lifting for 4 years and ive got more muscular and more ripped. since then im a lot more vain like checking myself out in mirrors etc.

do you consider people who only go to lift weights narcissistic.? if you go the gym, do you see a lot of guys like this.?Health Question & Answer

Answers:
lifting weights at the gym isn't narcissistic, in general, it's people improving themselves because they aren't proud (or satisfied) with their physique and want to improve for themselves

people that lift to get girls or work on the beach muscles are the narcisisstic ones, kinda silly, but every gym has those peopleHealth Question & Answer

No! Pumping up muscles isnt for nothing, who knows when theyre`ll be a HUGE object needing lifting, or a HOT babe to impress ;)
Its not like your constantly putting people down and making yourself look nicer by puting makeup on and thinking your the most beautifal thing in the world! thats narcissia; i ALWAYS see guys like that in the gym. its normal, and it helps you keep in peak physical condition, which makes you almost live longerHealth Question & Answer
