Question: Working out adivce..17 years old 6'3" 170lbs scrony.?
Im 17 years old, weigh 170lbs 6'3" tall and doofy , and bench 10 reps of 105 then another 10 reps of 95 then 10 reps of 85 until i get to around 65..is this what im sopposed to be doing.? i take whey protein i do alot of the machines at the gym 2 sets of 12... i work out everyday of the week i alternate arms and leg days...any advice i can have to get bigger.?Health Question & Answer

Do some research on Mark Rippetoe's "Starting Strength" protocol. It is perfect for those looking to get significant strength gains, and is a great program for beginners like yourself.

As for getting bigger, that has more to do with eating than with your particular workout. In order to "get bigger" you need to consume more calories than you expend during the day. Most likely, you need to be eating at least 3,500-4,500 calories a day to gain weight, assuming you're working out hard on the Starting Strength protocol. Rippetoe actually advises drinking a gallon of milk each day you do his workout, though that's tough to do.

avoid cardio.. and only do minimal amounts
