Question: Help on my abs... what stage are they on.?
When i do situps/crunches after swimming, i get these 2 lines that run on my stomach (seems like where the abs should be) ... any clue what they are.?Health Question & Answer

First off stop doing sit ups, anythign past about 30 degrees you mostly use hipflexors and tendons in your back.

Crunches and crunches with a twist are the way forward, done slowly, 1 second up, sqeeze of one second, then lower for 1 second.

The reason you cant see your abs is because they are covered n a layer of fat (it might only be small, but its still there).
Think of marathon runners who are super skinny and have 8 packs, you can see their abs becase they have very low body fat.

From what you say your abs are starting to develop, but you will have to reduce your calories and do more cardio if you want to have a proper 6-pack. Googd luck.Health Question & Answer
