Hi, i'm going on a cruise with my family in January and i want to lose about 5-7 pounds before then. Anyone have any tips/ideas on how to lose wieght and tone up.?Health Question & Answer

in other words, keep eating the same things that you are eating, but just dont eat as much of it. For instance, if you're going to eat a sandwich, try putting 3 slices of cheese instead of 4. also, you could eat only half the sandwich, and save the rest of it for a snack later.

also what i found is that when you wanna lose weight, try not to drink so much water with your dinner. It makes you gain weight, so try to drink before or after you eat, and only take little sips during your meals.
also with drinking water, you need to drink A LOT of it. Not during meals, but just drink water all day long. It really helped me out.

If you drink soda...STOP. That will cut out alot of extra calories and will help with water retention. Try to go for at least a 30 minute walk daily. Well what i would do is eat lots of veggies and fruit less meat, i'm not saying don't eat meat, but less. Don't eat as much processed foods, if you find that you are hungry more, snack on fruits and veggies or eat rice. but cut your proportions down so that you are semi-full and not stuffed. drink lots of water and exercise. For exercise, i do cardio for 30 minutes, then i do light freeweights (8-10 lbs.) situps, the ones that you lift your legs in the air and bring your body upward.
