Answers:
Sounds like your workout is great for building muscle and getting your in shape.

Swimming works all your muscle groups. If you want to build muscle, just make sure that you slowly increase the weights you are using.

Eat a lot of protein! Try to eat whole foods and avoid processed foods.
If you are going to eat carbs try to get them from natural sources.
Seperate your meals into six small meals.
For losing weight, limit your calorie intake to roughly 1500 a day.
Remember, patience is the key. You want to lose about 2 lbs a week.
That would be healthy weight loss.
You can set one day as a cheat day, that way you can get it out of your psyche once a week if you want to indulge and stay on track.

Make sure you are burning more calories than you are taking in.
3500 calories = 1 lb.

Good luck!Health Question & Answer

For one thing if you build muscle you will gain weight not lose it. On the other hand, if you mean you want to develop definition then that's another story. To do that you should do super sets, tri-sets and giant sets. You will lose weight doing these if you watch your diet too.

Super set is two sets back to back no rest.
Tri-set is three sets back to back no rest.
Giant sets are 4 sets or more back to back no rest.

Giant sets especially are intense training and you will speed up metabolism to the point of burning fat even while resting if you do them consistently for extended periods of time.

Always wait 24 to 48 hours for major muscle groups before weight training again. You can work abs, forearms, calves everyday, but not the others they need rest to develop.Health Question & Answer
