Yes you should be happy! You are loosing weight and not gaining it. You are like my boyfriend, he has weight fluctuations like that all the time. For instance if he goes off of what he normally eats and eats junk food he will gain 2-5 lbs.
As well as doing your exercise routine which is intensive cardio workout, incorporate something else instead of that one day a week. It could be going to a gym and doing weight lifting one day a week, or running one day a week, even walking up and down some stairs quickly at your house for 30min.
Remember also to eat small portions of food through out the day. And eat healthy foods. You will loose weight acording to what your bodys' metabolism is and the first two weeks is usually water weight lost anywase, eating frequently small amounts of food will help to increase your metabolism.Health Question & Answer

I think that's great! Two pounds in a week is a lot! Losing a modest amount of weight each week is the best way. That way you're still eating well and healthy!

Get 2 packages of butter/margarine/cheese whatever you can find that weighs 2 pounds. Look at the volume it takes up, pick it up and feel the weight. That's how much less of you there is in just one week!

Losing weight is never easy but it takes a lot of effort. Don't just look at the numbers! You're going to be healthier, stronger and happier for all your effort! Can't put a number on any one of those! Keep up the good work!Health Question & Answer

ooo I'M SO PROUD OF YOU!!! YESS you should be happy!! That means that you have begun the process of losing weight and that in some time little by little the weight loss WILL speed up.That happened to me and someone I know. Its like a roller coaster going down a hill.It starts out slow and then speeds up A LOT and then slows down.BUT you MUST keep up with your diet and exercise.Health Question & Answer

Stay happy and stay positive. Any and all loss is something to be proud about. Not everyone can lose two pounds, water weight or not.Health Question & Answer

hi ....its better 2 pounds of than 2 pounds on !!!!...keep going youre doing a good job !!!....take carexxHealth Question & Answer

2 lbs per week is actually the max that anyone should shoot for when losing weight. Not only is much faster not healthy but you will be far more likely to put back on what comes off too fast.

Remember, you didn't gain it overnight and it can't come off that way either. What is lost more slowly will be far more likely to stay off and also far less likely to be only water.

Don't rush it. You don't want to trade think for healthy. i lost 100 lbs a couple of years ago and tho 20 or so has inched back on me (i need to work on that), the rest hasn't and it took me a year, which is as fast as anyone should go to lose that much.

Some weeks you may lose nothing and you may even gain back one or two now and then, but don't let even THAT discourage you. It's about becoming a healthier and happier person and you will get there. When you do, i am sure you will find it worth it.

Congratulations! Two pounds is something to be proud of! By 10 you will find you can actually feel it and THAT will help you to keep going. Just don't give up, no matter if you slip or fall off for a day and just think how good it will feel to reach your goal.
