Answers:
It depends. It's not bad if you're an active person, because most likely you'll burn it off the next day. But, if you're eating carbs at night and not working out the day after, the glucose (sugar) will sit on you and you'll start to gain a bit of weight. If you tend to get hungry at night and need to eat something, go for foods that aren't carb based and are lighter in calories. Remember, when your sleeping your metabolism isn't burning calories the way it would when you're going about your day.Health Question & Answer

That's how I used to think but you also have to think about the rate your metabolism burns the food, you eat at 9 and may go to sleep at like 10 you don't have enough time to burn 600 calories in 1 hour and while your asleep you are still burning calories but at a very slow pace. Just imagine make this simple: Jogging a mile burns 114.7 Calories. Just try not consuming any food after 7 and you'll be ok.Health Question & Answer

Depends on how heavy it is.A late snack is alright but a massive spicy meal before bedtime usually makes you feel sleepy at first but then, you feel weird, have cramps, gas and its hard to go to sleep.

You're also much more likely to have bad dreams. The human body is simply not meant to eat a 2,000 calorie meal before going to bed,it does things...plain and simple.

Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner works.Health Question & Answer

Your metabolism acts like it's on a roller coaster. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow. When it's slow, the food gets stored. When it's fast the food is used up as energy.
During the day when you're active, the food will not get a chance to be stored. It will be used to keep you warm, active and alert.
Now if you exercised at 9pm, that's another story. but most of us are sitting in front of the tube.Health Question & Answer

Burning calories became child's play for me when I started visiting acai berry. I know they say that pills do not work, however they sure worked for me, and they've been showcased on CNN too. it isnt that bad but you should never eat before you go to sleep. that is bad. Eating late at night around 7-8pm is the latest i would consider. eat an early dinner and then have a snack before you go to bed. something light though. that would be fine.Health Question & Answer
