Rephrased: What constitutes exercise and what is just a function of one's BMR?!
Question: Rephrased: What constitutes exercise and what is just a function of one's BMR.?
I think I have to clarify. When is an activity considered to burn calories above and beyond one's BMR.? When tracking calories, some sites help you compute calories for typing on the computer, using the toilet, showering, etc., not just for strength training and aerobics and so on. So realistically, what calories do you count.?Health Question & Answer
Answers:
I only count time spent actually exercising (for me that's running, biking, long walks/hikes, or working out) The other activities are part of a sedentary lifestyle for an otherwise able-bodied person, and aren't going to make a difference calorie-wise.Health Question & Answer
