i started doing 110 laps per night which is 1.1 km
for an hour straight- no breaks. very high intensity
how fast will i loose weight.? and which stroke is the best.?

Probably the one you find the hardest. As you train harder and practice more you start to develop more efficient methods of swimming as well as getting fitter. So it will seem less difficult to do the same number of laps. Obviously 100 laps of breast stroke would be more of a work out than 100 laps of free style as it is a less efficient stroke. But then again 100 laps of freestyle will probably also be done in half the time. Really the most important thing is the intensity and the time spent at that intensity. If you are exhausted at the end it won't matter if you only got 5 laps or 1000 laps if you were pushing yourself equally for both. If you're swimming often but not competing then your best off mixing it up a bit anyway, so all your muscles get a work out.Health Question & Answer
