I get that too sometimes, a good long warm down (stretching) really helps once your fitness level increases you should be all good.

your muscles are trying to heal.Intense training can over stretch or even rip some of the muscle tissue. But strangely enough i found that after an intense workout at gym i also have muscle aches and stretching them actually helps. Don't sit at home like a granny go out and have fun.after a while your muscles would've warmed up and the pain will go away.Comes back when you rest.

Its post muscle soreness, I get it bad because I gain muscle so damn fast. I don't get really sore until a couple days after a workout. Your initial soreness is from lactic acid buildup. Your muscles burn energy and the waste product of that is acid.Health Question & Answer
Because you need to stretch after your dance class or you will feel the pain untill ur muscels arent sore anymore. i did an intense dance class next day i felt so much pain after i stretch i didnt feel it. i ask my teacher why and thats what she said. and now i dont feel any pain
