I agree with Little Thing, for the most part. It's not about denial, and "can't", but it's about how how one CHOOSES to eat. I choose to not eat animals and animal products. I CHOOSE to eat whole real foods devoid of enriched flour, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup (yes, I'm aware of the biased commercials), hydrogenated oils, partially hydrogenated oils, artificial colors, artificial flavors, etc. I'm happy, I'm healthy, I'm teaching my 16-month-old daughter (who goes nuts at the sight of a banana) good eating habits, and I'm at a good weight. (Six feet, 155.)

Some people think I'm weird. However, this is my life.Health Question & Answer

Never skip breakfast.Keep it light but satisfying eg toast bread and marmalade, oatmeal, cereals.Include low-fat milk and little sugar or honey. This will provide energy for your day's activities, carry you till lunch and prevent you from eating in-between meals.

Eat a healthy lunch eg Potato Casserole and a glass of water, avoid fizzy drinks, if unavoidable take diets eg diet coke.Eat a heavy lunch that will take you till dinner.

Try to avoid dinner so you wake up filling hungry, thus enabling you to eat and use up what you eat.A very light dinner is preferred eg veg or fruit salads, a glass of milk etc

The rule is wake up hungry, eat light breakfast, heavy lunch and light or no dinner which continues the cycle as against those who skip breakfast munch(eat in-between meals) all the way through lunch, try to skip lunch
and end up eating a heavy dinner which is not given time to digest before they fall asleep. What do you think.?Health Question & Answer

normally you should eat 2,000 - 2400 calories a day no matter what.
if you want to lsoe weight then eat 2,000 but do not go below that
it is also not healthy to eat the same thing everyday because you cannot get the proper nutrition, so be sure to vary your healthy meals.
make sure you incled all food groups. including grains, fats, veggies, fruits, dairy and meats and beans. Each one is a vital part of nutrition.try eating nuts, olive oil, etc. for healthy good fats, and whole grains for your grains.
just eat when your hungry and stop when your full.
or try eating small well balanced meals every 2-3 hours.
but make sure to eat enough or your metabolism will slow down.
eat healthy and regularly and youll be thin.
anything else, you wont.
dont be stupid and try and take shortcuts that will ruine your health, lose weight the healthy way and itll last.Health Question & Answer

I think people think too much about what they should not be eatting and obsessing over diet really whats healthy is not denying your self, telling ur self you shouldnt eat something leaves u craving for it and giving in making u feel like a failure!

I think healthy eating is all about balance and keeping your blood sugar levels up in this regard always have a good breakfast i chose weetabix and wholemeal toast ( make sure u get fibre) this keeps me going until lunch i may have a bannana inbetween youl find u wont crave sweets if u keep ur energy sugar levels up with healthy food. For lunch opt for something with fruit or veg and when picking carbs opt for brown not white baked or boilded not fried so maybe lunch a cajun chicken wrap or soup and a small choc bar or yougart. Dinner the same make wise choices like make ur own pasta sauce if u feel like fish and chips bake dont fry and if u want a bag of crisps eat them if u dont ur be craving and over doing, so instead of trying to cut junk out focuas on eatting good food and ul gradually notice ur looking for junk food less and less.Health Question & Answer
