Well for me this works the best. I walk (at a fast pace similar to a speed walk) 3 miles a day. Walking burns a significant ammount of fat and running bulks the calves. However, the best running program is interval training. try 1.5 minutes walking then 1 minute sprint and repeat.
also in the mornings I do a yoga DVD and a pilates DVD. Both yoga and pilates were made to tone and enlongate the muscles without making them bulk. And, the reason I do them in the morning is because exercising in the morning before breakfast is the most beneficial for weight loss becuase it burns fat most effictively. While if you eat a few meals and work out in the afternoon you are simply burning off your meals.

Of course I recommend to include a healthy diet as well. =)

Try doing light exercises... only a bit a day so that you don't over do it...

You will feel healthier and look healthier if you change your diet... but don't just NOT EAT... soooo not healthy... pay attention to how much your eating instead of looking ONLY at what you are eating. Look at the size of the container you are eating from, i guess that is what i am trying to say... put like 5 oz of water in a regular drinking cup and then look at how much water is in there. Does it look like a lot or a little.? Then put the same amount of water in a HUGE cup... does the amount of water look like it changed.?.?.?
