Sit ups - why do i feel guilty, even though...? ?!

Question: Sit ups - why do i feel guilty, even though....? .?
I know that sit ups only improve muscle tone (they don't change your body size, and i'm NOT planning on weight loss).

But i've made myself do thousands everyday, morning and night, since last summer. I keep feeling guilty and thinking i'll get fat if i don't do so many, even though i know they don't change my size.

Why do i feel so guilty.?Health Question & Answer

Ok, I'm not an expert in this field at all, but doing thousands of sit ups a day isn't healthy, physically OR mentally, especially if you're feeling guilty about this. Like, (I really hope this doesn't offend you), but reading various questions you've asked, you really seem to have an issue about your weight and body. Just exercise a bit every day, treat yourself once in a while, try to face yourself about why your attitude to eating and exercise is like it is, and I really wish you luck. :)Health Question & Answer

Every time I was on holiday and thought i was putting on weight i used to do loads of sit ups to make my tummy look flat! But I learnt that if i did a proper workout for about 20 minutes a day then
my body shape will stay looking good.

You probably feel guilty when you don't do sit ups because you've been doing them everyday for so long and your brain makes you feel guilty when you don't do them.

If you want to control your weight take up jogging or aerobics. much more fun and reliable.Health Question & Answer

Stop Feeling Guilty and change your exercise plan. Situps DONT Work. You don't have to do Thousands to get results. Be realistic about it. Exercise Daily, for 1/2 hour. You are only putting stress on your body.Health Question & Answer
