Question: Tired of this Yo-Yo'ing...how do I KEEP the weight off.?
I'm not talking about diets or other gimmicks. I will get on these fitness kicks for several months where I eat healthily, work out (weights twice a week, cardio 4-5 days a week 30-45 min), and I will lose lots of weight, feel great, and enjoy myself. But then I get SO BORED of it! I try to switch up my work out routines but after a while I just dread going to the gym. I tell myself I will take a one week break or so to make myself excited again, but then one week turns into months and I'm back where I started - lazy, pudgy, and unmotivated. I'm so tired of it. How do I break this cycle.? Where do people get the motivation to be a gym member "for life".? Does the buddy system help.?Health Question & Answer
