no you dont have to wash them it should say on the box that they are already washed, but if it doesnt put them in boiling water in order to kill all the germs.Health Question & Answer
Most frozen veggies are already washed and inspected before freezing. Steaming them should get them hot enough to destroy anything that might be lurking. Good luck!

yea, wash it.
Then for a couple of minutes, let it stand in a container of water which has all the juices from a squeezed lemon.
Then steam it.
