Would I lose about the same amount of calories using a stationary bike versus a bike?!

Question: Would I lose about the same amount of calories using a stationary bike versus a bike.?
Answers:
No. Using a real bike provides the resistence of wind, which, believe it or not, can boost your calorie burnage by a considerable amount. A stationary bike is good, but it doesn't come close to what 'real' biking achieves.Health Question & Answer

I'm training for a bike tour this summer, 511 miles in 8 days, so I've been riding a bike and doing an elliptical machine when the weather is cold. Trust me, you burn more calories on a bike than you would on a stationary bike.

When the wind is 10 mph or more, it literally feels like I rode 1.5 times as far as I just did. If I ride 20 miles, I feel like I rode 30 miles. Doesn't matter which direction the wind is blowing, eventually it'll be at your side or in your face and it makes you work much harder.

Getting some cardio fitness and even some weight loss fitness on a stationary bike, treadmilll or elliptical is great, but you'll get much more fitness if you ride a bike outside.

Good luck to you!Health Question & Answer

Melting calories was a piece of cake (LOL) for me when I began visiting acai berry. I know they say that pills don't work, however they sure worked for me, and they have been shown on CNN too. There's a free trial happening at the moment at http://salovs.chrisanddani.info , try it, what is the worst that could happen.?Health Question & Answer
