use http://www.fitday.com to see how much calories you burn in a day. You will need to eat atleast 500-800 over that to see muscle gain. You will probably need to increase it a little more here and there depending if gains halt

What I have been doing is just counting protein. I shoot for 2xBW.

I used to weight around 52 kg, I'm up over 82now. So I know what it takes. Just focus on eating whole eggs, chicken, steak. breakfast should be one of the biggest meals of the day. Get complex carbs in morning and especially around workouts. Have a poptart, or something sweet after a workout. Drink water avoid soda. Pizza and hamburgers can be your friends on days you're having a hard time getting alot of calories.

Make if fun, it's a lifestyle. It will not happen in a week but you will eventually meet your goals with some blood, sweat and tears.

If I were you I would shoot for about 1.5 X bw in protein. Go upto 2x if you don't start gaining. fruits in the morning, veggies at night. atleast 3-5 (even though I suck getting this lol). Anyways I like to eat my good fats to like raw almonds, light tasting olive oil, avocados, saturated fat from whole eggs. I cook with pure olive oil. I eat oatmeal everyday about. White rice, potatoes sometimes, pasta to:D

Biggest thing will be consistency. Stay with it, and I guarantee you'll love the results. Keep in touch, would be interested to hear about your journey to gaining mass.Health Question & Answer
