Ok. I'll give real examples. When i started working out 2 years ago. I was 215 (i'm 6'1 and male). I have worked out for 1 month. i only lost 1 pound. I did cardio 5 times a week (40 minutes 4-5 miles). i also did strength training (3 times a week). After 1.5 months or so. I started losing weight like crazy (2-3 pounds a week) every time i looked at scale it was down lol. So....my suggestion is just give it some time it will come around.

Oh and muscle weights more then fat is stupid. which one do you think is heavier.? 1 pound of muscle or 1 pound of fat.? (trick question...they are the same!) Muscle does have a higher mass though...

Since you currently weigh 191, multiply your GOAL weight by 12. THAT is approx. how many calories you should be eating each day.

if you do not want to eliminate carbs to help to lose fat (always my recommendation), then make sure you get equal amounts of your carbs from protein/carbs/fats.

for example, if that figure above comes out to 1800 calories. then you should eat 600 calories from carbs 600 calories from protein 600 calories from fats. This is very simplistic and not what i normally recommend but should help you out.Health Question & Answer

*its all good*Health Question & Answer

Muscle DOES weigh more than fat. You should do some research on that.

also, once you gain more muscle the weight loss will increase since having more muscle raises your metabolism and makes you burn fat faster as well.

You might want to try taking measurements and see if you're actually losing inches.

I think you're doing a good job, it's only been a month (less than a month) and it takes time to lose weight the right way. Losing weight too fast is unhealthy and people who do that are more likely to gain it back.

Just relax and be patient.
