Put on a latex glove without touching it?!
Question: Put on a latex glove without touching it.?
Is there anything out in the market that will automatically put on the latex glove so you don't have to touch it.? I thinking about this should be in the medical industry already so the doctor or nurse won't spread germs when putting on their gloves.

As it is, the sterile gloves are cuffed (folded down with the insides facing out) a few inches at the top. The first glove is picked up by the folded edge of the cuffed top, so you are only touching the portion that will face your skin when the glove is on. The glove is pulled on by that cuffed edge.
The second glove is then lifted by putting the sterile fingers of the first glove underneath the cuffed portion of the second glove, so that only the sterile fingers are touching the outside of the second glove. The hand is fed into the second glove by pulling it over the hand and on with the fingers that are under the cuffed portion, and the thumb on the still sterile inside of the cuff. Only the sterile fingers contact the sterile outside of the second glove.
The sterile fingers of the second glove are then placed under the cuff of the first glove to unfold the cuff, bringing it up so the entire glove is fitted correctly, while only touching the sterile outside portion with the sterile fingers of the second glove. TaaDaa !!!Health Question & Answer
