In pain. Can anyone help with a home remedy?!
Question: In pain. Can anyone help with a home remedy.?
Okay, about 6 months ago I had a back tooth pulled that was chipped (not a wisdom). I did everything I was supposed to do to make sure I didn't get a dry socket. After the so-called healing period, everything has been fine until yesterday. I have been able to eat on that side and everything. The area, which I presumed to be closed, began to hurt real bad. So I took some ibuprofen and that didn't help, then I brushed my teeth like 3 times, and that didn't help either. I also used warm salt water which only worked while I was doing it. Someone said to me that a nerve from the area might be exposed. If so, is there anything I can do at home to feel better.? Health Question & Answer

you might have a tooth fragment (a sliver piece of tooth)from the tooth that was pulled still in there trying to work it's way out.It happened to me .Everything was fine , and then one day pain, and then gum felt irritated, then a bump came up,I squeezed on each side of the gum and a sharp flat sliver popped out..The pain was relieved almost instantly..But call your dentist..just in case.Health Question & Answer
