Your nerves are more sensitive in your hands. Imagine if you were to pick up a piece of glass accidentally. The sensitivity lets you know it's sharp and to be careful. also think of chores like picking up a dime. The nerve endings enable you to do that. The skin is also thinner.Health Question & Answer
Simply put - Your body goes into shock when there is an excessive amount of pain. Therefor you don't feel as much of it as there is, though the actual pain would (of course) be more severe rather than a small one. A small cut also processes quicker in your nerves especially in your finger were nerves are more sensitive- therefor you feel more pain and faster.Health Question & Answer
