From my experience I would say just try to ignore it and it will go away in a few days. I have had some pretty strange mouth pains as well but the usually go away after 3-5 days. If it has been hurting for longer than that I would see a doctor or dentist. A possible cause could be and irritation of the mouth by eating a food that you don't eat alot, or maybe your nervous about something that is causing you to rub your tongue on the top of your mouth a lot. For me my mouth hurts when i drink gatorade. Good Luck!Health Question & Answer
