Question: What is the bone below your kneecap that sticks out.?
I don't know whether my legs are weird but there is this bone below my knees and it sticks out heaps its so annoying I always get bruises on it when I kneel down. It hurts so much! What is this called and do I have a problem or does everybody have this.?Health Question & Answer

This is called your tibial tuberosity. It is actually part of you tibia (main lower leg bone). It is also an attachment point for several muscles. It is very prominent on many people so you are not abnormal. It is also common for people to bruise that area. So yes, you are completely normal. This is not anything to worry about.
