How To Best Ask To Work Under A Different Supervisor?!
Question: How To Best Ask To Work Under A Different Supervisor.?
Next week, I meet with my work Director to discuss Reasonable Accommodations for my psychiatric disability. My current Supervisor is very, very high energy and verbally harsh and is simply not a good fit for me. There is another Supervisor in the office that is really mellow and calm; I would rather report directly to him.

Tell them exactly what you want, without it sounding like a demand. Start with a compliment about your current supervisor, but then tell them that he/she being a high strung individual really affects your anxiety and that you've noticed Supervisor X is more laid back and you think you'd be more productive on their team.Health Question & Answer
