Everything's getting on top of me...any advice you can offer?!
Question: Everything's getting on top of me...any advice you can offer.?
I just feel like i'm in a really bad place at the moment, i tend to procrastinate quite a bit and now everything seems to be catching up with me...it's all taking it's toll. I need to make some big decisions and take action, but i have become so overwhelmed with all the things that need to be done to the point where i can't take any action at all. I am stuck in limbo. What do you do when the pressure is just piling up on you.? I'm tearfull most of the time and fear that i am going to crack up. I am not suffering from depression, as i have been there before. Though i do worry that if this carries on, i will be back there soon.

Write a list of these you need to do in terms of your decision making. Have it in black and white. And don't pressure yourself, it'll make things worse.Health Question & Answer
I know what you mean. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed that I just shut down; I can't do anything.
I find that making lists of what I need/should do is helpful. As I complete something on my list, I cross it out & that feels really good.

Girl, sounds rough, I've been under lots of pressure before.
When it gets that bad realize that you have to take care of yourself, and that you have to PRIORITIZE. Decide that some things are just going to have to wait. Make time to get the most important things done, and it means that you won't be able to live up to everyone's expectations, but decide what matters most and do that stuff.
Even if it means quitting a team, or dropping a class. I dropped a class once, thought it would hurt me, but it helped and nobody cared when I applied for grad school. Keep that perspective in the long-term.
