I'm in a very depressed mood?!


Question: I'm in a very depressed mood.?
Well I have depression (diagnosed with it almost two years ago), and I am on medication and see therapy once a week. But there are just certain days where I get really depressed for no reason. It actually makes me feel sick (stomach) when this happens, and today is one of those day. I am just having a naturally depressing day, and the fact that there is a blizzard going on outside and I have to babysit my sister all day is not helping at all. I just really need to have some kind of instant 'mood-swinger'. I really don't know what to do. I'm just so depressed. Any ideas.? I'm only 15 too so this isn't easy.Health Question & Answer

You need to get busy. Do something that you like to do. It will take your mine off what ever it is that have you down in the dumps. With you being only 15, Medication is not good. not at this age. Now I take Medication but I am 30. Just have your mom take you to the Doctor and see what they say. But you need to get busy doing something that you like to do. based on sientific studies it could be your eating to much or your not eating healthy enough try drinking water instead of soda.i waz over weight alittle bit then i started drinking water and eating healthy foods i got more energe and i rode my bike more. also i wazent as borad or depressed and nerves. im only ten and i started eating and drinking healthy.Health Question & Answer

Diet diet diet!!! Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, drink v8 juice in the morning, high fiber, low fat - no processed sugar or foods. Follow the South Beach Diet. This well help soo much. I have a lot of fears and anxieties and depression about life and death and since changing my diet, I feel so much better. also pickup a hobby! Join a club, make some friends, keep yourself busy. I'll give you my practical depression tips. There might be one in there that helps you out. The best thing is to call up a friend who is usually pretty upbeat and talk. If your sister is little and you have to actually follow her around (like a toddler) use a portable phone and yak yak yak. Or pop one of your funniest movies into the DVD player. Or find an online site that has lots of jokes (but I don't know any, you will have to look or ask another yahoo question). Most people get blue when stuck inside all day and it is all overcast. We're like that here too- the snow is really blowing! I'm in central Minnesota.
