EDIT:: jerloveswhatever is wrong about the painkiller part. NOT ALL OPIATES/PAINKILLERS HAVE 'CODONE' in them....... idiot. and thats NOT what gets them high.
gettin high off of coughsyrup is for naive little 13, 14 year olds..
its dangerous, makes you feel like S**T, and the high isn't even great.
Maybe thats just me... I prefer acid if I want to trip.......

Cough syrup, is often drank for the dextromethorphan hydro bromide (DXM). The dose you would need to take for the high often causes undesirable side effects, such as upset stomach, diarrhea, and ...death. Frankly, it's easy to take too much cough syrup and end up in the ER getting your stomach pumped because you wanted to get fucked up.
Pain killers, are taken for the codone in them. (codone which is a synthetic opioid analgesic, to get you high.) Pain killers are extremely addictive, and often lead to long-time heavy drug use either popping pills or moving onto dirtier drugs like heroin. It is often easy to become addicted to pain killers after just taking them for a small period of time (sometimes even once).
If you were thinking about using either methods to get high, I would recommend against it, it's not safe, or smart. You will have more problems that aren't worth the high.Health Question & Answer
