Why am I randomly passing out?!
Question: Why am I randomly passing out.?
It started on my 24th birthday. I was eating out with my family when all the sudden I felt drunk ( i was not drinking). I stood up to go outside for some fresh air and that's the last I remember. I passed out. I went to the emergency room and they ran the usual tests (drugs, etc) and nothing came back. I wore a heart monitor, they did an ekg and ultrasound. Ever since my 24th birthday I occassionally feel that way. I'll get tingly in my limbs, feel cold but sweat profusly, and then pass out. I was tested for diabetes and that came back normal. I've always been a healthy person. What is going on with me.? By the way, I'm 29 now. Health Question & Answer

this is EXACTLY what happens to me. i have had so many tests done its not even funny, they always call back and say "youre ok" and im like no im not! it started for me in...8th or 9th grade. i described it as if someone suddenly hit me in the head and i felt dizzy and stuff (i had never been drunk-but that was the feeling) and i would break out in a cold sweat and then BAM drop. they tried to find a correlation between everything with no such luck. since i was about 16 they have tapered down and i know that if i ever start to feel close to that i immediately sit down on the ground with my head between my legs and have someone get me water. its never been explained and it bothers me! so it started when i 14 or so, and im 21 now. i wish you the best of luck, its an awful feeling and it makes no sense.Health Question & Answer
I think you have a rare case where your blood pressure surges unexpectedly and you faint. could be, talk to your doctor about blood pressure issues. Wish u luckHealth Question & Answer
