Tired of feeling like crap?!

Question: Tired of feeling like crap.?
i have had clinical depression for many years, and all that mumbo jumbo (i wont go into it for your sake).

But i get very suicidal like constantly. Like once or twice a week.

And its starting to really effect my life, and my sanity.

And yet, i don't want help. Professional help i mean. I've had counselors and what not in the past, thye would even pull me out of school to talk to me at times.

And they don't help one *flippin* bit. To me, they're useless, and i don't believe that anything will ever cure me, or even ease the depression.

But i'm really sick of it, i don't want to feel like crap anymore, what do i do.?

I mean... do you think it has something to do with my self image.?

because many times a week i stand in front of the mirror, for a long time and just want to die, i dont like what i see, i hate what i see, my image doesn't look anything like the person i feel inside, i'm so inadiquate to what my standards want.

Anyone know what i can do.? I've tried everything, and none of it works. I feel like such crap.

i mean it's friday and i can't even be a normal 15 year old guy, i don't have any friends, so i'm not out doing things, even though i would really like to.

and i'm too shy to meet people because of my self image, it's like im stuk in an endless cycle, and i don't know how to fix it.

and anyone who comes on here with negativity can go straight to *flippin* hell, i don't need your crap, go deal with your problems, don't waste your life telling me what a bad person i am for having clinically diagnosed depression.Health Question & Answer

I feel your dilemma, at least I did. Sounds very much like me so I hope this reaches you because it took awhile for me to realize it. I have found things in life that I thought were such a pointless waste of time to be a limitless experience. It is what you make it and there is no other way to say it. You say self image and I say it is more about the image of your surroundings.

What are some things that you would like to help make better.? Don't ever think that you can't be of help because you have much more ability than many(whether its people, or animals or plants....)

I found several things to get my mind "out of the gutter" so to speak. I realized there is so much to see in this world that I could not leave before my time unless I was sure I saw and experienced all the options available first. How could I cut out early with a prejudged mentality.? How could I say that this Earth was not meant for me unless I personally experienced it...I started traveling(not far just locally) Only now I opened up my eyes to see things differently. It's like the saying "stop to smell the roses" That saying never meant to me what it does now.

I also started to read. I am a slow reader, but I would and still do try to read a chapter a week. I know the movie would be faster but the feelings you get and the knowledge that you take with you will never be comparable. One book I have read that I suggest to you: Way Of The Peaceful Warrior by Dan Millman.

These are things that helped me on my journey. I can not gaurantee that these things will do the trick for you. i can only share with you the things that have helped do it for me. I hope this helps you.

Oh another thing I thought of is that I focused more of what I wanted to be not just what I was. I was not grown up around a creative family but I wanted to "play" with art. I drew, and wrote poems/short stories, I learned a little guitar(I have been without my guitar for 2 years and can't wait to get it out of storage next month!) Anyhow, you can see that you may want to try a creative output as it may open up new doors of interesting curiousity and once opened you will want to contiue that process of learning and maybe teaching others what YOU have learned as I am doing in this note.

Who in your life has called your worthless and useless.?
You need to know that the actions of other people no matter how close to you are not a reflection of who you are as a person.

First let me tell you I am so sorry you have been in this condition for such along time. You are 15 so you must have felt this way since you were how old.? 10 or more.?
After my daughter passed away I was so sad too and felt like crap...I tried many things to make the hurt go away but it never did because I lost my child and it never will but I am not as sad as I was the day she died I do feel much better at the same time I miss her the same.

All I do are things that bring happiness like making art, cooking, watching sports, using the internet, I treat myself to things I enjoy. One most important thing I have found is that if I do something for someone else it makes me feel great and also that person feels good too.

If my depression stopped me from living like others do I would get help from a doctor and take some anti depression medication for a time to see if it got my brain's chemicals back to a stage where I felt more like living a normal life. That is what doctors are for..to help us over the rough parts of life.
Your parents are there for support and to guide you...in your development mentally and physically......we need help sometimes even if we fight it....and think we can fix it ourselves. Don't waste time feeling like crap...ask your parents to make a phone call to someone who is a professional in mental health and do what they say don't try to out smart them do as they say so your life can be the best it can be.

You have your whole life ahead of you....and don't miss out on all the wonderful things you can do. Many people have the same feelings and waste their life not doing anything about it. But YOU KNOW that you have a problem so get busy and take action now before you reach 16. You will thank yourself for it later in life.
