What is wrong with my 27 yr old friend? Always falling asleep, can't handle late nights or alcohol, late....?!

What is possibly wrong with one of my best mates.?
He sleeps a hell of a lot. He works in banking yet turns up to work at 10am+, sleeps in on Sat and Sunday mornings even though he isn't out partying with the rest of us on Friday nights. Don't bother planning anything on Saturday or Sunday mornings as he will not turn up till lunch time minimum. He drinks a lot of red bull, coke but it never really seems to keep him pepped up. If he drinks a few drinks of alcohol, he'll fade pretty quickly. He's fallen asleep in mid conversation with me at least once. One time he drank a beer and pretty much collapsed on his a**. His excuse was that he was sick and on medication.
Is there a medical condition for what he has.?

- Did not eat vegetables till recently (last few months)
- Otherwise awesome and a good friend.

He could be a narcoleptic. Or he could have an undiagnosed medical condition like mono. He could be anemic. There are all sorts of possibilities. Have him go see a doctor.Health Question & Answer

It could be 'Chronic Fatigue Syndrome' but I'm not a doctor.
