Sounds like newly developed stretch marks. I used to have some near my shoulder and they were purple-red looking. I thought they were scratches at first, probably caused by poltergeist I thought was haunting my house at the time but then I found out they were stretch marks. I go them when I got pregnant and my knockers got HUGE. They didn't go away either. I would assume that what you are talking about are veins, but I am not sure why they are lumpy. I would see a doctor if they get worse or painful.Health Question & Answer

I believe those are stretch marks
they start off that color
and then fade to pale pink or white
