Do i have a vaginal infection?!
Question: Do i have a vaginal infection.?
first off for some info
im 16, ive had my period since i was 13
and ive never had any sort of vaginal problems
the last time i got my period on the jan 16 and ever since then ive been discharging pale brown, excessivly
every time i would clean it out, the second after that i would discharge again the same disgusting fishy smelling discharge
the smell is unbearable and yesterday in school i noticed you could smell it though my jeans, and that was everytime after i discharged
its really annoying and disgusting
i really don't think its normal
then i put in a tampon to see if i would work and it did, a little

its happening for about 2 weeks and its extremely uncomfortable
is it an infection.?

Answers:
It is not natural for the vagina to have a fishy smell. the discharge may just be leftover old blood being discharged. However, if you sit in a tub with vinegar and water that should rinse out the excess blood. 2 possible things could be going on:
1. did you put in a tampon in and forget it.? it happens, they move up and at the end of a period it is forgotten, and does cause a smell and a leak,
2. an infection, see a doctor ASAP... if left untreated can cause PID
pelvic inflammatory disease. A bad and harmful illness
regardless,the doc can help,
the tampon removal and if infection...you can get antibiotics.Health Question & Answer
