Question: Waht is yeast infection and what are the symptoms.?why women have yeast infection.?
Answers:
All women have yeast, and candida. Sometimes there's a imbalance and you produce too much. You can get extra discharge, a change of colour, and foul smelling, itchiness and swelling, redness are all symptoms.
Try a PH neutral soap to wash with. But be warned over washing can make it worse. I would actually advise buying aqueous cream. You can by over the counter at a chemist. It can be used as a soap. If you have baths then slap a layer of it on to protect yourself from the chemicals that are in your shampoos and soaps, then use to wash the area with and rinse with clean water.
I suffered very badly for a while, and my doctor refused to treat me for it until i was checked out for stds. When I went the doctor told me I actually just have eczema around my vagina, and gave me some steroid cream and advised the aqueous cream. I haven't had it since.
The imbalance can be could by the slightest change in your diet or soap, deodorant or perfume.Health Question & Answer
