Are there any remedies/medications I can give my 3 yr old for constant nasal dis!

Question: He has been having continuous nasal discharge. I'v tried to give him cold medication, for nasal discharge and it's not working. Anyone know what I can give him to stop it? I already took him to the doctor and the medicine only works while I give it to him, once he finishes it..it comes back. Vitamin C deficiency?
Answers:
KEEP HIM AWAY FROM DAIRY! Alter his diet to more fresh fruits and veggies to help boost the immune system. Also on the herbal side you can give him Pulsatilla. Its for colds and non irritating nasal discharge. It comes in strengths ranging from 6x-30. You can get the herbs at your local health food store

He could be having a problem with dairy foods.they can cause a lot of mucus in some people. Keep him off milk/yogurt/cheese for a week or two and see if it helps.
Sounds like your child may be allergic to something.Take the child to an allergy specialist.Does anyone smoke around your child(that's a no no) What kind of soap do you bath the child with. Try using very mild soaps such as ivory only.In any case a doctor should be consulted before you give your child any medictions because even over the counter drugs could be harmful or fatal. Are you using any kind of air freshing products in your home? That could cause that too.Start looking around your house for what your child could be coming in contact with that would cause his nose to run.And always consult the childs doctor if you continue to have problems.
