lol your suppose to put salt in the wound to make it stop bleeding becase salt is like Anti-water. It will dry the area. But don't do it because its only for amry medics and doctors if its needed. Its only for a last resort if like you have a gunshot wound and you need to stop the bleeding until you can get to a hospital you put salt on it and a bandage. Dont you watch army movies :P But truthfully its salt, don't put anything else on it. Salt hurts like hell too

Yes sugar would help to clot the blood and start a scab, however, I would advise you to only use that as a last resort.
