I wouldn't recommend it for infection purposes however if you must. Wash ear thoroughly with soap and water.Numb with an ice cube if you wish.Use a large sewing needle.Sterilize it by passing the needle tip through the flame of a lighter.Wipe your ear lobe with alcohol and clean swab.Place a cork at the back of the lobe and push the needle through.Keep the area clean and use hydrogen peroxide daily to clean it.Wear a loop earring,turn it daily to remove crusting.I cannot stress how important it is to keep the process clean clean clean.It really doesn't cost that much to get it done at the mall.You can also purchase a kit.

Don't be daft - have it done professionally, it is more hygienic, less painful and not too expensive.
I put an ice cube on my ear lobe. Then I put alcohol on the large sewing needle and inserted it into my ear lobe. I wouldn't recommend you doing that. It's difficult to do by yourself and much easier for someone to help you...)(
