Weird Q, but how much does a shrink/counsler normaly cost?!
Question: Hey I'm not sure if theres a Main Cost, but I cut and I think I need a shrink or something, but we can't afford anything fancy. Ideas?

If your family has health insurance, you may be able to get a referral. Otherwise, call your local County Department of Public Health. They may be able to refer you to someone who will help on a sliding scale (based on your income).

It really all depends on your location, and where you're at. Who the therapist is. and how much your insurance will cost if you have insurance. Sometimes your insurance will cover the cost, depending on what kind you have. Sometimes you just have co pays to make, and they cover the rest.I hope you do, other wise you'll be paying out the ying yang for one. Believe me i myself see one. Have since 5th grade.
