Is it a good idea to work out your biceps and triceps on the same day?!

Question:
Answers:
you can if you want, i personally don't think its that great of an idea cos it cripples your arms for the next few days and affects what you can do.
i reckon you're better off doing biceps and chest on the same day, and back and triceps on a few days later. you can do legs and sholders, abs, lower back in between to rest the muscles. that way you can focus on all the muscle groups and let them recover in between.

I do it, and it works fine. When I started weight training I seperated them because I couldn't handle working my arms so much, but now that I've developed better technique where I'm isolating the muscles, it works just fine.
Dunno...pass the doughnuts
Sure you can as long as you rest them the next day so they can re-build themselves. I work out at the Curves Gym for Women and when we do our circuit training, we use double-positive hydraulic machines so we are strength training opposing muscle groups simultaneously. I just make sure to leave a day in between my work outs and drink tons of water to flush the lactic acid and I'm good to go!
Nothing wrong with that. I've had routines with biceps and triceps on the same day (like a Push-Pull routine), and had other routines where I did triceps on chest days and biceps on back days.
Yes. If you are working your entire body, you need to take a day off of the weights for your muscles to recover. However, if you are doing upper body one day, lower body the next, you can lift every day.

I would do both biceps and triceps on the same day. YOu want the muscle groups to be even.
