My father has been diagnosed with pulomnary fibrosis due to his job of 20 years!

Question: My father worked for I.B.M. for for 35 years - 20 of wich were spent in a tool room when silicone and methaline chloride were vented through the systems - my Fahter now suffers greatly from pulmonary fibrosis that his doctor believes was caused by his exposure to these toxins. does anyone know if we my have legal recouse against this company and if so how do we find a good lawyer?
Answers:
You may have legal recourse. It's not necessarily an easy type of case to win -- it's all about causation, i.e., did the working conditions cause your father's pulmonary fibrosis. I know of two law firms in my area that work with clients nationally on these types of cases. If you want, you can email me at halkeytock@yahoo.com and I can give you contact info for those firms. But whatever you do, I think you should at least consult with a lawyer who handles these types of cases.

Yes, if miners can get black lung, and workers comp (my dad was a miner) then you can for your fibrosis. Go to www.findlaw.com it is the best searchable website to find a lawyer who handles cases in your area.

Yes, you may have a case. My stepfather got asbestosis and COPD from his work, and he filed a suit against the company and won a nice settlement. Give it a shot.
YES. I don't know where you live but if you tell me, I could help find you replicable legal representation.
