is there a way to do the lemon trick without the sun?!
Question: i have brown hair, and i've had it for a while, and its starting to get boring! so i bought some lemons so i could do the old lemon trick, but you have to have the sun to do it. well it's still winter here, is there any way i can still do the lemon trick? like could i use a blow dryer instead of the sun?

blow dryer! but the sun is more natural and i think it makes hair pretty!.. well the better thing is "sun in." its a spray bottle thats not necessarally a dye, but liek the lemon idea. my dad uses it when he mows the lawn, and my sister uses it when she tans.
still, you should probably try dying it, because lemons could create streaks of red for brunnettes! that is unless you wanna try going redhead.

i've heard too, and i think i did it as a kid, to use the hair dryer. the idea is heat, that's the only reason they say the sun. also hydrogen peroxide will lighten your hair too. you can also buy a product call Sun In from the store that is basically like a lemon formula. all of this stuff will GREATLY damage your hair and if you ever want it highlighted some stylists won't dare if they know you ever did this stuff because something about bad reactions? but that's what i know!
