Is there anything other than surgery which can help a prolapsed colon/uterus to!
Question: Such as herbs, internal herbal injections (inserted into vagina or as an enema), exercises, alternative treatments..
Also what can help severe incontinence. I wake up several times a night to go to the restroom and it is disturbing my sleep.
Answers:
It sounds as though you would benefit from surgery, if your surgeon has recommended a procedure to you.
While your incontinence may be linked to prolapse there are exercises that can help - you should speak to your doctor and find a physiotherapist who specialises in incontinence. It may not help your prolapse, but it can help with bladder control by re-training your bladder muscles and nervous system to go less frequently.
While these may help a little, successful surgery could help with all of the problems you have described. Make sure you talk with your surgeon about the risks and the chances of failure when making a decision about any surgical procedure.
Good luck.
