I want to know if people smoke weed to calm their nerves is it a sin?!

no, i dont think smoking weed is a sin at all. it was put on this earth by God, the bible says on page one:Genesis, book one, verse 29: "Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth." Now, is there is no dispute that marijuana is a green herb bearing seed that grows all over the earth!

i smoke hydro and purple haze only, the best on earth. i have been smoking for 17 and when i finish and take care of my 3 kids after i enjoy smoking and it does calm my nerves.by the way it is not a sin and not bad for your health either.

They are illegal (unless prescribed by a doctor).

In my opinion, I wouldn't say that it's a sin, I see nothing wrong with smoking weed..but if you make it a habit and do it everyday, then I would say you have a problem. You shouldn't have to get high all the time to be calm.
Nope, not a sin. Better than hitting your kids or kicking the dog or yelling at someone or anything like that. As long as you take care of your responsibilities I see nothing wrong with it. Other drugs - bad idea.
