have you ever done a detox diet? how long for and any tips?!

Detox diets usually last up to 2 weeks. the whole point of a detox is to cleanse your body and (especially your digestive system) prevent toxic acid build up-from various foods- causing any damage to the body.its a great way of gettig rid of free radicals and although it makes you feel lathargic at first, you will feel more energetic and refreshed following the two weeks..It also gives your body a break from meat and meat products that may cause free radicals which are harmful to your body.

I did, for 3 weeks. Personally, felt it was a waste of time, as I spent the whole time feeling lethargic, cranky and ill. So my tip is not to do it!
I have been reading up on detox diets and simply fasting semi interests me and I've been reading up on it and I think I may try it soon.
Don't expect a lasting effect on your health if you go straight back to a bad diet though.
