I have noticed for the past month or so that I get dizzy spells. Has anyone els!

Question: A better way to describe my "episodes" is that I may bend down to pick something up, or turn over in bed and I get really woozy for a few seconds. The dizziness vanishes quickly and I forget all about it until it happens again.
Answers:
this is called syncopy, when you bend over, or stand up too fast, not enough oxygen gets to your heart and brain at the same time. be careful, because if it gets really bad it can cause seizures. you usually will outgrow the pattern, or it can be treated with medications such as elavil.

nope. you need to get checked.
yep
You may have low blood sugar.

You may be over-weight.

But it's probably a tumor.
You might have any number of things that or may have nothing to worry about. If you have anything at all it might be autonomic nerve dysfunction which means that the nerves that regulate the tone of your blood vessels do not react fast enough to changes in blood pressure and let your pressure drop when you bend over. Therefore you feel woozy or lightheaded because blood flow to your brain is diminished slightly.

Most times it is really nothing to worry about. I would guess that you have a sedentary lifestyle so you might want to try to exercise and get your blood vessel tone up. Go to your doctor if it would put your mind at ease to not be something serious. Depending on your age and other health conditions your doctor may evaluate and suggest taking blood pressure medications.
