It happens to me sometimes too! I don't exactly know why but I guess it is because it is cold and that is the way the nose responds.

its got something to do with temperature variation causing the sinses to react violently
coldness proably makes ur bugars wet and start dripping
Because cold air is usually dry air. The lack of water vapor dryes your nose out and cracks the inside of you sinus passages.the result is usually bleeding. Also happens in a hot air environment. IT is not the temp. rather its the vapor.
Quite simply, when you're outside on a cold day, the air in your nose is a lot warmer than the air around you. You know how the bathroom gets steamy when you take a shower? Something similar happens in your nose - water drops come together, or condense. Then the drops mix with your mucus and run out your nose.

it doesin't but when in the cold air you are able to get sick which causes your immune system to fight off most bacteria in your snot so it then runs out of the nose.
Cold air makes your nose run because you have snot in it and then it cools off then it runs
